Features
The so-called 努ell temples are buildings for the drinkable waters cult. They all follow the same scheme, articulate in three environments:
1. a vestibule
2. a stair covered by a floor following the steps line
3. a tholos room used as a well or sometimes covering an underground well.
The well is the material and ideal centre of the architectonical structure, containing the water believed the gods residence.
Location
In Sardinia there are about 30 努ell temples, all inside (Santa Cristina-Paulilatino) or close (Losa-Abbasanta) to the Nuraghic villages, some still visible in their remains, others unfortunately destroyed (Sant但nastasia-Sardara), some part of a sanctuary (Santa Vittoria -Serri), some others apparently isolated (Su Tempiesu-Orune).
