Cultural elements from sub-Ozieri

Features.
From 2850 B.C.
The culture from Sub Ozieri is dated back to the oldest stage and it痴 characterised by the disappearance of the decorations in the ceramics. The evidences of this culture are mainly in the southern Sardinia and in particular nearby:
� Terramaini-Pirri (Cagliari)
� Su Coddu (Selargius- Cagliari)
While the typical decorations disappear, we notice other styles in substitution: different bowls often undecorated such as the so called 鍍egame biansato� and other carinate jars. You can also find fragments of clean and pure clay, decorated with paintings.

The cultures from Abealzu and Filigosa.
The most important elements of the Ancient Eneolithic are represented by the cultures of:
� Filigosa (Osilo, SS)
� Abealzu (Macomer, NU).

The culture from Filigosa.
To be noted in particular the funerary areas where the vases, often quite small, are decorated with simple patterns imprinted and scratched.
Besides the ceramics you can also admire:
� Fusaroles
� Looms
� Arrows made of obsidian
� Necklaces made of clay, bone and shell
� Other artefacts made of copper and silver.
We can assign a rich series of other artefacts found in the funerary areas of the southern Sardinia to the late period of the culture from Filigosa, such those found in the hypogeum near Serra Cannigas (Villagreca-CA).

The culture from Abealzu.
The evidences are quite a few, mainly in the southern Sardinia, and they are vases completely undecorated. From the funerary areas some marble statuettes with a feminine geometric shape. Their characteristics are the arms on the waist but separated from the bust: for that shape they池e called 妬doli a traforo� (cut-work idols).
