Senis 'Snail Fair' will be held for the 7th time on the first Sunday of August 2005. Organised by Senis Pro Loco in collaboration with the municipality and the E.R.S.T.A.T., the fair will start at 11:00 with a conference on snail growing; from 18:30 on, tasting of snails cooked according to traditional regional recipes.

In addition, an exhibition of ancient pictures of different everyday-life situations in Senis (farming, religious ceremonies, school, family, etc.), and an exhibition of handicraft products including honey, wine, saffron. During the fair the old “Casa Baronale"  and the “Fontanella Spagnola", last heritage of the Spanish invasion, will be open to the public.
