The Hotel is located in Geremeas, only 21 km from Cagliari and its Interantional airport,in a unique position just between mountains (the chain of “Sette Fratelli”, a Nature Park with rare flora and fauna) and sea (the amazing 2 kilometres long sandy beach of “Kala e Moru” ). In the nearby there is also Villasimius, famous sea resort with the Sea Park.
BUILDING
It is told that the building was founded by friars in the 1800s, (therefore the name “Il Monastero”, “The Monastery”): this is proved by the ancient church still present on site. The Hotel maintains the ancient features such as wooden ceilings and stone pavement. Its rooms are finely furnished and equipped with all comforts: telephone, satellite TV, Air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms.
RESTAURANT AND SERVICES
The Hotel Monastero offers both half and full board (with drinks included). In its ancient restaurant halls it is possible to taste Sardinian and international dishes.
At clients’ disposal there are also a large swimming-pool and a famous discotheque.

The hotel and staff were incredibly lovely - secluded location and the hotel felt more like staying at a friend's villa, who had built it as they wanted it, with lots of nice touches - perfect for relaxing and hanging out in the sunGetting into the city via bus is a little more complicated (as you will have to jump on a bus) particualrly if you want to stay there late, but you can figure it out without a problemAustria

the location of the hotel. the outdoor restaurant, the pool. the weather. the people. very happy that hotel was next to horse riding centre.We came out of high season when there is no entertainment, we would have appreciated some evening entertainment at least once in the week.Italy

Staff were friendly. Swimming pool good.Should be better lighting in rooms, far too dark. Shower in bathroom was one of the worst we have ever come across. Air conditioning kept breaking down.
