Sighientu Life Village  is situated directly on the beach, along a stretch of coast between Cagliari and Villasimius, about 25 km from the Elmas Airport.
It is one of the most fascinating and elegant hotels in Sardinia, covered with gardens and palm trees which extend all the way out to the beach.  Built using natural materials such as stone and wood, every detail was taken into consideration in creating this unique hotel.  Ethnic furnishings from Bali add to the charming atmosphere.  Indoor gardens and water fountains lead to the Thalasso Center, which provides remedies for the body, based on the benefits of sea-water.  The beautiful natural rocky swimming pool looks out on the beach, and adjacent to this there is an area for sports.  The scenery is made even more splendid by an expanse of fresh water, with swans and various species of birds, surrounded by greenery.

There are 221 finely furnished rooms with all comforts provided, air conditioning, hair dryer, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, and safe.

RESTAURANT:
The “Scirocco” Main restaurant with wide outdoor terraces with sea view offer the new and original formula AW gourmet. The “Libeccio” restaurant located within the attractive  swimming pool and the sea, provides rich buffet of international and regional dishes, a large grill where to taste gorgeous local meat and fish; a reserved area for children is also available. A cocktail bar inside the hotel and a snack bar close to the swimming pool and the beach. (Some services would be available according to the weather conditions and occupancy of the Hotel. Decision will be taken by the hotel manager).
AW gourmet
A new concept of restaurant in the AW LIFE formula.
New elegant and trendy buffets where regional cuisine, fusion, diet and biological one nestled together. Clients could also choose a personalized service at table with  new and fine proposals every day. An casual dinner or a pleasant evening in a lovely atmosphere
(AW Gourmet available only for the "LIFE Formula" guests at dinner in the main restaurant “ Scirocco” only).

SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT:
A swimming pool of 1,500 square meter fresh-water with an area for children, beach services, 1 tennis courts (with synthetic turf), 1 beach volleyball net,1 five a side court, sporting and game areas for the mini-club with  bottle-warmer and baby changing-table on request, amphitheatre, private parking unattended, Thalasso Centre, Conference Centre, Souvenir Shop/mini Bazaar (01/04-15/10). The hotel facilities are exclusively for guests, which is guaranteed through the use of bracelet-badges.
Next to the hotel there is an equipped tourist port.  Hotel guests are free to enter and enjoy a pleasant stroll along the docks.  From here it is possible to reach the most beautiful areas of coast in Southern Sardinia.  The port provides rentals of rubber dinghy and place to dock, Diving Centre, Sailing Centre, and Yacht Club.
AWELLNESS & THALASSO CENTRE
The marine climate, the sun, the nature, contributes to giving to effectiveness to the treatments offered by the AWellness & Thalasso Center of the Sighientu Hotel. A swimming pool with seawater at 32° and bio marine  itineraries with water jets for massaging and stretching every part of the body.

A new service dedicated to fitness  lovers. The attention to the well-being through personalized or a  group activity in gym or outdoors followed by pro-trainers (paying the AW Fitness Card, see rates sheet).

ACTIVITES AND GAMES:

An animation team careful and discrete  will propose daily tournaments, sports, races, music, and dances. Sport activities become the focus of your vacation: Tennis, sailing, beach volleyball, 5-a-side  soccer: equipment, group lessons (assistance with multilingual staff) or private lesson (on payment on request) .
 Diving Center available at the close port (on payment).
Cabaret or dance evenings in the amphitheatre JUST FROM THE 31 OF MAY .

AW KIDS CLUB: (31/5 – 27/9)
In order to spend your holidays in a calm and involving way, a team of assistants multilingual speaking, with specific preparation, will lead your children.
Baby Club (3-6 y.o.) and Mini Club (7-12 y.o. ) will offer specific
programs according to the age of the children with gymnastic,
dances, introduction to the sport, manual laboratories and of expressive arts, lunches and snacks together. The day will end with an enthralling Baby Dance. The activities and the assistance are previewed from  9.30 a.m. to the 6.00 p.m. , including a lunch with the staff.
Special Junior Club (13 to 17 y.o.): sporting activities, games, tournaments, evening entertainments to involve them in a holiday in the sign of the friendship and of the amusement. Furthermore an excursion in a rubber dinghy to discover the beautiful sea of Sardinia. The activities and the assistance are scheduled from  16:00 to 1.00 a.m.

BEACH FACILITIES:
The beach, which is fully equipped, is directly in front of the hotel, beach towel included on deposit.  The swimming pool area, where the games and sporting activities take place is close to the beach and hotel. 
A private rubber - boat (of maximum 18 seats) on payment,  is at guests disposal for daily tours around the coast nearby (scheduled each two hours from 01/6-30/9 according to the weather and sea conditions) not admitted children less than 4 years old).  Guests buying aw cards (see above) have 1 run for free. The runs at 5 euro each.

EXCURSIONS (on payment):
The hotel’s unique location allows interesting possibilities for natural and cultural excursions.  The marine park, small islands and the inlets unreachable by land, all characteristic of the area surrounding the hotel and Villasimius are reachable by boat, daily excursions leave from the Tourist Port.  It is possible to visit interesting nearby archaeological sites such as The Nuraghi, and The Tombs of the Giants, evidence of past cultures.
