Country Hotel Mandra Edera

The Dominariu Mandra Edera, a small 4-star hotel is situated in the territory of Abbasanta, a few kilometres from the village, in a wild and untouched zone.

Abbasanta is a town of about 2800 inhabitants which lies in the heart of Sardinia, in correspondence to the major roads and railways of the island. This strategic location allows you to get anywhere in a short time and therefore easily reach the places the most interesting from the touristic and cultural point of view (beaches, coves, archaeological sites, museums, etc. ...)

The Dominariu Mandra Edera, characterized by the style of a "big house", consists of two main buildings and some others minors, one of which is destined to the care and rearing of animals (Anglo-Arab-Sardinian riding horses), while the remaining are used for welcoming guests: there is a restaurant (for the exclusive benefit of the guests), a lounge, a bar, 8 Suites (one of which is designed for the disabled) and 4 rooms.

All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, internet connection, minibar, safe, air conditioning and hairdryer.
In addition the hotel includes:
- free parking
- swimming pool with heated water, partially covered by a winter garden, with hydrotherapy, fitness corner, bar and shiatsu massage.
- riding school of regulatory measures
- field of work and to tame, also made of sand.
The horse stable consists of twelve boxes and a saddlery. The estate is lined by age-old cork oak trees, and it covers an area of approximately 30 hectares.

The strengths of the farm are certainly the environmental and territorial qualities, but especially the strong links with the tradition that the owners, who are horse breeders, have learned and grown over the years.
This is a place of rest where you can rediscover human values like friendship and dialogue between people, a place where it will be easy to rest your body and mind, to appreciate the sounds and tastes that are the expression of this land.
It is a form of tourism still little practiced in Sardinia: not a "off-hand restaurant" or a "mega hotel" lost in the countryside, but an attentive and welcoming space, built specifically to house, for two days or more, about 28 people.
Guests can devote themselves to the knowledge of Sardinia trough ethnographic, naturalistic, gastronomic routes and itineraries, personally planned and managed by the hotel or to the techniques of the local handicraft (through the collaboration of appropriate teachers), to the care of himself and of his rest, to the reading and to all that activities that restore body and spirit.
It will be possible to have a close relation with the animals of the farm and there will be the opportunity to bring on holiday with you your cat or dog, avoiding the hassle of searching someone who can look in the meantime.

HOSPITALITY
The hospitality, as in the best tradition “abbasantese” is treated in a very special way through the courtesy and the thoughtful welcome and above all on respecting the culinary traditions and offering tasty dishes which are mainly prepared with meat, milk, cheese and vegetables which are produced in the farm or in the surrounding territory.
