Its ancient part, the Castello, is characteristic for its town planning, typically medieval, with narrow and winding streets, but there are many Spanish and Aragonese monuments as the famous Bastion S.Remy. You can visit the famous Archaeological Museum, the National Art-Gallery, the Museum of National History and many others. The panorama of Cagliari by night seen from Castello is very romantic. The promenade Poetto, very long, offers beautiful walks.
