BERCHIDDA (SS) is a town situated in Gallura  (Logudoro)  72 km  far from Sassari and 35 km  far from Olbia. The sea is distant 35 km going to Olbia. The Lake of Coghinas is only 4 km far . The B&B is a small ancient villa situated in the periphery of Berchidda (at 1,5 km), with private parking for cars and motorcycles and garden with swimming pool. 
Tourists can find 1 suite with double and single bed on the ground floor and a  gallery with two single beds. Private bathroom on the ground floor.
English spoken, little animals accepted, no credit cards. Breakfast is served in the dining room. Living room with tv and satellite dish, terrace, laundry service.
The swimming pool opened from 1 June to 30 September. Bath-towels (for the swimming pool) not supplied.

The scenery offers mountains of granite, green hills, vineyards and olive trees, beautiful woods of cork trees, holm oaks and junipers, Mediterranean vegetation, myrtle, arbutus, broom. At a few kilometres from inhabited centre there is State property forest of Monte Limbara, with breeding of deers and moufflons. There are about 30 nuraghi in the territory of Berchidda. Possibility of excursions with bike, horse and hiking. Typical dishes have as main ingredients bread and cheese. Well known is the soup"zuppa berchiddese", dish with bread cooked in the sheep stock and seasoned with sauce and abundant fresh cheese. Exclusive dish of the village is "sos raviolos", little bundles of fried dough, stuffed with wild boar or pig meat. People who wish to visit Berchidda can take part to "Triulas, il sole, la terra e i sapori",  eno-gastronomict feast of Berchidda. The event carries out every year in July with dinner on open air and you taste the typical soup of Berchidda and boiled sheep meat. The Feasts: San Marco is on 25th April. The sanctuary is at a few km from the village and you can reach it easily; San Michele is celebrated during the 2nd week of May; Santa Caterina is celebrated  the 1^st week of June. The sanctuary is at about 4 km from the village. During "Ferragosto "days there is one of the most important festivals of jazz music: Time in Jazz. Berchidda, homeland of Vermentino wine, puts up the Regional Museum of Sardinian Wine. We suggest renting a car, the B&B is in the countryside .
