“Il Falconiere Hotel" is on the south-east coast of Sardinia, just 1 km away from the sea. The Hotel is 6km from town. Muravera is about 65km from Cagliari and can be reached taking either the SS125 or the coast road to VIllasimius. If you are coming from Arbatax (70km away), travel south on the SS 125. 
This new structure is located on top of a hill in the middle of the Mediterranean scrub. The Hotel is made up by 3 Boungalows, each one with two air-conditioned double rooms furbished in Sardinian style and a bathroom with shower. The Restaurant (in the main building) offers delicatessen from the regional cuisine. Linen are changed every 5 days, cleaning is daily. The Hotel is ideal for families with children and for anyone who is longing for some relax. English and French spoken. Breakfast is served in the main building.
In Muravera you can find different services, such as hospital, surgery, handicraft shops, gastronomic outlets, travel agencies, rental of various kinds of equipment, guided trips to the “7 Fratelli" mounts. In the nearby: the towns of San Vito, Villaputzu, Castiadas, the ponds of Feraxi, Colostrai, Salinas and S. Giovanni, the promontory of Cape Ferrato.
If you go south you can find Costa Rei's 8km-beach. The beach of Colostrai, one of the most beautiful and wildest in Sardinia, has been declared a protected area. When snorkelling you can admire wonderful sea beds rich in fish and ancient wrecks. The beach is sandy, thus ideal for children.
In the area you can also visit the Menhirs of Piscina Rei and Cuili Piras. Muravera offers handmade carpets and fabrics that have been woven through wooden looms, reed baskets and launeddas, the most ancient musical instruments of the Mediterranean. Make sure not to miss the folk feast in April (Orange fair) and the one in July (Fish fair).
