Cannigione

Cannigione  is a well known sea resort located on the north eastern tip of Sardinia in the Gulf of  Arzachena.  It’s in a very strategic position as it allows easy access to all the tourist spots and to the extraordinary beaches of the entire Costa Smeralda. Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo are respectively  only 15 and 30 km away.
From Cannigioni it’s possible to carry out a variety of excursions to the nearby  Maddalena Archipelago and  to other breathtaking islets of the area which include those of Budelli, Spargi and Razzoli for example.
The city centre  is next to the sea and is made up of a series of pastel coloured buildings  creating a perfect holiday atmosphere.  There are also a number of  good Hotels.  Again in the city centre lies the well equipped port where it’s possible to hire a dinghy or  moor one’s own boat. The many restaurants offer  typical dishes  with delicious sea  and meat specialties.
 Amongst the many stunning  beaches are  “Balca Brusciata” and the beaches of  “Mannena” and “Ulticeddu”.

In the vicinities there are significant archeological sites worth visiting , like the giants tombs in Li Lolghi and the Nuragic necropolis  of Li Muri.
