Carloforte is an isle located along Sardinia's south western coast. The sailing itineraries to be followed in this part of Sardinia are all different and of considerable charm.

The entire pathway that we propose is not a sailing course, but a real and proper experience, where participants are the protagonists of life onboard, and of the conduct of the boat. they will participate actively in the maneuvers, learning and refining their knowledge on sailing. They will visit beautiful places, which, as seen from the sea. appear under a completely new light, giving the feeling of experiencing a true exploration.

PROGRAMME:*

Sunday
your flight lands in Cagliari, Sardinia, best if by early afternoon. A mini bus takes you from the airport to Carloforte in about two hours, via road and Ferryboat. Accommodation at three star Hotel ‘Paola’. At 18:00 you will join Antonello at the NautiVela Carloforte Sailing Centre for a welcome cocktail with your TEP leader and tutors, registration, presentation of staff and illustration of the programme of activities for the week, including the photo contest. At 20:30 you will enjoy a dinner in the hotel restaurant, ‘1° Maggio’.

Monday
full-day sailing 10 to 17, cruise on 39 feet (12 meter) boat, tour of the island; packed lunch prepared by Hotel Paola; 20:00 Dinner on the waterfront at the harbour, Chez Andrea and Maddalena at top restaurant ‘Osteria della Tonnara’.

Tuesday
full-day sailing 10 to 17, cruise on 39 feet (12 meter) boat, to S. Antioco; packed lunch prepared by Hotel Paola; 20:00 Dinner at top restaurant in the ‘paize” chez Nicolo Pomata at ‘Nico Bistrot’.

Wednesday
full-day sailing on historical Latin sail boat Ruggero II, to Pan di Zucchero, lunch on board, packed lunch prepared by Hotel Paola; 20:00 Dinner on the waterfront at the harbour, Chez Mario at top restaurant ‘Belalugosi’.

Thursday
Two-day mini cruise on 39 feet (12 meter) boat
appointment at 9 for the purchase of the caboose
departure at 10, to small island Il Toro and La Vacca, and  to Porto Pino ; lunch prepared by the participants; dinner on a boat cooked by participants; night spent onboard by S. Antioco or Porto Pino, if South, or Cala Domestica and Buggerru, if North, depending on wind.

Friday
Two-day mini cruise boat, arriving home at 17, breakfast prepared onboard by participants; lunch onboard prepared by participants; 20:00 Dinner in the ‘paize’ at Chez Secondo , top restaurant ‘Tonno di Corsa’.

Saturday
Full-day sailing 10 to 17
sailing on First 31, a 31 feet (9 meters) racing boat; morning to Isola Piana and Capo Altano,
and to the Nord to Portoscuso and Isolotto dei Meli, packed lunch prepared by Hotel Paola , afternoon short final regatta , aperitif at Hotel Paola, photo contest prize, memories; 20:30 dinner at Hotel Paola’s restaurant ‘1° Maggio’.

Sunday
Sunday morning: preparing luggage and leaving to airport.

*Alternative programme available in case of bad weather.

"Fishig Tourism in Carloforte" package holidays are available on a Sunday-Sudat basis in September and October 2009, starting on Sunday September 6th, 2009; in May and June 2010, starting on Sunday May 9th, 2010; in September and October 2010, starting on Sunday September 5th, 2010.

Holiday Package Price:
