Autumn in Barbagia 2011 Orune is dedicated to poetry and its beauty. The poem is like a work of craft, antique and precious, and through poetry you can tell and enhance the traditions that belong to the land of Sardinia by an indissoluble bond. The event will open Friday, December 16 (and will end on 18) with laboratories and documentary films focusing on poetry and the Sardinian language, while in the streets of the village itinerant actors enliven the morning with two shows. Autumn in Barbagia Cortes Apertas: Olzai and Gadoni

Olzai and Gadoni are the new places of Autumn in Barbagia 2011. The Cortes Apertas to discovery of bread and cheese. At Olzai during a panel discussion it will be discussed the new production of cheeses for vegetarians with the inevitable tasting of them. Also in Olzai on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December  you can admire the production of “vresa” and “modde” breads, local production of traditional breads. Autumn in Barbagia in the medieval Atzara

Autumn in Barbagia 2011 Cortes Apertas has arrived to Atzara to November 25, in the valley where flows river Araxis, which goes down from the mountain Maseddu, almost full geographic center of Sardinia. An area characterized by the imposing Gennargentu, the granite monoliths, but also from the forests of cork trees and holm oaks and long rows of vines. It is in this medieval village that for Autumn in Barbagia will open the Cortes, to show the ancient Sardinian crafts. It will assist the production of soap, the opening of the first barrel and the tasting of wine, the preparation and tasting of brandy. Autumn in Barbagia 2011 is Ovodda

The next step for the event Autumn in Barbagia 2011 is Ovodda, a village on the slopes of Mount Orohole, of ancient origins and distinctive rural appearance. Three days, 11 to 13 November, to learn about bread. A sort of awareness campaign for the consumption of pan’è fressa, which is part of the traditional breads of Sardinia. A taste workshop that explains how it is prepared, as it is cooked strictly with wood oven, with a tasting to follow. (more…)
