Getting to know the culture of Gallura

DAY 1. Traveling to Olbia

From Cagliari or Alghero, your first destination and at the same time starting point of the tour will be Olbia. On this first day, after checking in at the chosen hotel or residence, you can freely visit the city of Olbia.

DAY 2. Costa Smeralda

The second day of the Gallura tour is entirely dedicated to the famous Costa Smeralda: together with our guide or our escor,t you will discover this very popular place, known as much for its extraordinary beauty as for boutiques and luxury tourism.

DAY 3. The islands of La Maddalena and Caprera

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, your cultural journey in Gallura continues and you will embark from the port of Palau to the island of La Maddalena. Once on the island, the village of La Maddalena then Caprera by the bridge that connects the two islands. Caprera is famous for being the last home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, there is a museum that you can visit.

DAY 4. Travel by sea around the Maddalena Archipelago

On the fourth day you will depart from the port of Palau to visit the Natural Park of the Maddalena Archipelago, a protected marine area that includes, in addition to the large islands of La Maddalena and Caprera, the islands of Spargi, Budelli, Santo Stefano, Santa Maria, Razzoli and many other small islands that complete the scenario of a true natural paradise.

DAY 5. Discovering the Nuragic civilization

The first part of this day will be dedicated to visiting an important archaeological site, where you can live an experience in contact with the Nuragic era. Later, at the end of this archaeological tour in Gallura, you can enjoy an evening and a fantastic sunset on the Capo Testa peninsula.

DAY 6. Traveling to the island of Tavolara

The sixth day of the tour will be dedicated to the beautiful beaches of the southern part of Gallura, where you can relax, sunbathe and breathe the salty air all day long. There is plenty of choice, we recommend Cala Bradinchi, Lu Impostu, Porto Istana, Coda Cavallo and La Cinta.

DAY 7. Return home

After breakfast at the hotel, you can check out and return home, with the certainty of having lived as a protagonist one of the most evocative and complete itineraries in Gallura.
