All rooms are decorated with warm colours and to add to the relaxing atmosphere, the hotel provides slippers, towels, a duvet, desk, table and two chairs. Rooms are soundproofed and equipped with air-conditioning, minibar, extra pillows, wifi, satellite TV and electronic safe. Carbonia is in southwest Sardinia, 70 km from Cagliari, in an area called Sulcis. The area around Carbonia is hilly, with the highest point at Monte Sirai. Recommended places to visit in the area include the caves Grotta dei Fiori, the nature reserve of Monte Crobu, the church of San Ponziano, Villa Sulcis and the archaeological museum in Via Roma. The Unesco heritage Geomineral park is also highly recommended. Other than its historical, cultural and archaeological interest, there are many beautiful beaches in the area, including Portixeddu, Buggerru, Cala Domestica, Porto Paglia, Porto Pino, as well as Porto Flavia, Pan di Zucchero (or Sugar Loaf) and Masua.
