Hotel Hieracon

The Hotel Hieracon is an Art Nouveau building of rare elegance and refinement, recently renovated, its beauty and comfort have been highlighted even further.  Located right on the seafront in Carloforte’s historical centre 50 metres from the marina, it is the ideal base for exploring the beautiful island just off the island of Sardinia.

The Hotel Hieracon has been conceived as a large Villa where guests can find the solution that suits them most. It's the perfect base for a family holiday, meeting all necessary requirements.
Unique in style, it has 24 rooms divided into classic, superior and deluxe. The rooms are brand new, spacious and blend comfort with charm.
Each room has a unique  position or view and are therefore all different. They are equipped with private bathroom and shower, hairdryer, digital TV, telephone, minibar, air conditioning. Some have a maxi screen, a balcony or terrace and a jacuzzi.

THE AREA
Hierakon nesos, "Hawk Island" is the ancient name of the island of San Pietro, so called by the Greeks, due  to the high presence of hawks and falcons currently known as the Queen’s falcons, which still inhabit the cliffs of the island today, as they did centuries ago. Tourists can go bird watching in the Lipu oasis in Calafico. Close to the Hotel Hieracon there are many hidden places to discover on trekking, hiking and mountain bike excursions, or by  renting a boat or taking part in a guided tour.
You can enjoy sports such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling, fishing and spear fishing,scuba diving. Or simply enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful natural pools of the island or relax in the hot sand.
Even for children fun is guaranteed, qualified instructors will be available to monitor children in activities such as swimming, sailing, windsurfing and all their variations.
