Hotel Mistral in Oristano is just a short walk from the centre of town and 7km from the beach of Torregrande, famous for its Spanish tower. The beach of Torregrande is popular both day and night, as it has fine white sand, gently sloping into the water, and there are bars, restaurants and clubs for the evening. It is highly recommended to hire a car and explore the beaches of the Sinis peninsula, including San Giovanni, Mari Ermi and Is Arutas, with its sand made of grains of quartz.
